Přílepy lies beside the road between Holešov and Fryšták. The village is about five kilometres from Holešov.

The Neo-Renaissance château in the park at the centre of Přílepy houses the municipal office, the library and a new community hall. Přílepy Château was created by rebuilding a fortress in 1852 and took its present form in 1885. The château park was established between 1850 and 1892 and, together with the château, is a protected monument. From 1955 to 1994, the château served as a maternity hospital. The village has a primary school and a nursery school, and the school has operated since 1905.
