Flower delivery to Machová from a florist in Holešov
Machová lies on the north-western edge of the Zlín District. The village is just under 4 km east of Tlumačov and more than 5 km north of Otrokovice.
The first written record of the village, from 1397, gives its name as Machova lhota; the name Machová has been in continuous use since 1881. At the village centre stands a replica of the bell tower dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel; the original structure was demolished in 1994. By the road on the boundary between the cadastral areas of Machová and Mysločovice stands a statue of the Virgin Mary dating from 1888, most recently restored in 2011–2012. Machová received the Green Ribbon in the Village of the Year competition in 2005 and 2012 for its care of greenery and the environment.
